What is “Paintless Dent Removal”
Mercedes Benz developed and refined the technique for paintless dent removal/repair (PDR) in the 1940s. Initially it was used to massage out minor dents and imperfections caused on the production line. This process was so successful that it was soon introduced worldwide.
PDR has continued to develop and refine the techniques and tools over the years to the sophisticated practice that is implemented by technicians today.
Paintless dent repair/removal has dramatically changed the face of the auto body repair industry, and is now the number 1 choice for insurance companies worldwide for the removal of minor dents and hail damage to motor vehicles.
PDR can be undertaken for one third of the cost of traditional methods.
How does Dents R Gone remove dents?
At Dents R Gone Paintless Dent Removal, we utilise a large selection of state of the art tools to enable us to access the panel from behind the damaged area (dent), and then with extreme accuracy, gently ease the metal back to its original shape.
In cases where it is not possible to access the rear of the dent, glue pulling techniques are used to gently ease the panel back into shape. High regard is placed on preserving the manufacturers original paint finish during the entire process, therefore, maintaining the value and restoring the integrity of your motor vehicle.
Please Note: If the dent is bigger than your hand, it is probably too big for Paintless Dent Repair.
